Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
1. About These Terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Adelaide Pool Leak Detection website (the "Site") and our referral service (the "Service"). By using our Site or Service, you agree to these terms.
2. What We Do
Adelaide Pool Leak Detection is an independent referral service. We connect homeowners and businesses in Adelaide with licensed third-party pool leak detection contractors ("Contractors").
We are not a pool leak detection contractor. We do not:
- Employ pool leak detection technicians or tradespeople
- Perform any pool leak detection work ourselves
- Guarantee or warrant any work performed by Contractors
- Accept responsibility for quotations, contracts, workmanship, or insurance related to pool leak detection work
3. How the Referral Works
When you submit an enquiry through our Site or by phone:
- We forward your contact details and enquiry to one participating Contractor who services your area.
- That Contractor may contact you to discuss your needs and provide a quotation.
- Any agreement, quotation, contract, or arrangement is between you and the Contractor directly.
- We receive a referral fee from the Contractor. This does not affect the price you pay.
4. No Guarantees
While we take care to refer enquiries to licensed and insured Contractors, we make no guarantees about:
- The availability of a Contractor in your area at any given time
- The quality, timeliness, or cost of work performed by any Contractor
- The suitability of any Contractor for your specific pool leak detection needs
We recommend you verify a Contractor's licence, insurance, and references before engaging them. You can check SA building contractor licences through Consumer and Business Services SA.
5. Your Responsibilities
By using our Service, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about your pool leak detection needs
- Not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent enquiries
- Not use our Service to solicit or market to our partner Contractors
- Deal with Contractors in good faith
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Adelaide Pool Leak Detection is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from:
- Any act or omission of a Contractor
- Any dispute between you and a Contractor
- Any pool leak detection work performed (or not performed) by a Contractor
- The accuracy of information on our Site
- Any inability to access or use our Site or Service
Nothing in these terms excludes any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this Site (text, images, design, code) is owned by or licensed to Adelaide Pool Leak Detection. You may not copy, reproduce, or republish our content without permission.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page. Continued use of our Site or Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
